Terms

Version 2026-10-08

Your seat is held when your wallet already holds enough money you paid in.

A deposit is not a booking. We show booked only after the supplier confirms.

Leaving before the house is locked returns your money.

After the trip is booked, the supplier's terms apply to the house.

You can withdraw your wallet balance to your bank. That needs an ID check.

Who runs Go Together

Go Together is run by Cláudio, trading as GoTogether. To reach us, use Contact at the bottom of the app or on your profile.

You must be 18 or older

You can only create an account and use Go Together if you are 18 or older. By creating an account you confirm that you are.

What this is

Go Together is for people going to the same destination or event who want to form a group, share a house, and make plans together. Joining a group or plan is not a ticket to the main event, and joining a group is not a booking with a landlord.

A seat

A seat is your place in that group. You can join before anyone pays. When enough people are in, everyone who has not held a seat has 48 hours. If you do not hold it, the seat can go to the waitlist.

The house

A house is not confirmed because people have held seats. The group is booked only when the house has a supplier confirmation code. Until then, the house can still change.

Paying

You pay from your wallet, in dollars. Payments and wallets are run by our payments provider, Internal Memory. The deposit is not a card charge from this app. The card is not refunded here. Adding money by card adds a top-up fee of 5% + $0.50. Your wallet receives the amount before that fee.

Refunds

If the house isn't locked yet, leaving returns the held money to your wallet. If the house is locked, that money comes back only if someone else takes your seat. If a group doesn't go ahead, everyone gets back the full amount held for it. The Go Together fee is part of that held amount, so it comes back too. A card fee paid to add money does not.

Who gets the money

The part for the house is held for the supplier of that place. The Go Together fee is separate. The person who created the group does not receive your seat money.

How many you can open

For one event you can open one public house group, one friends group, and create plans for activities at a set time. If you join another house group, you leave the one you were in.

Other people

The chat is for the people in that group. Once a house is ready, only people who held a seat can keep reading it. You are responsible for how you treat the other travelers and the place. We can close an account that misuses the app.

Plans

A plan is a time-based activity, meetup, or paid spot under a destination or event. It is separate from a group and does not include a house unless the plan clearly says so.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from Delete account on your profile. If you have money held for a group whose house is not booked yet, leave that group first (the refund rules above apply) or contact us.
